1 year on the Kutty story of JD(John Durairaj)

 

2020 in India before covid first wave started. The audio launch of Master occurred in a simple manner compare to Bigil. After that lockdown hit and the master got postponed for release and it's released on January 13th (which is today when I write). My watching experience with Master was different, but I have already watched 5 times this film and I gave 9 starts in IMDb for which its having in my 5th position in the top 5 films of 2021. Lets take the lesson from the Vaathi..

Flashback

This is more of a Vijay Sethupathi movie I would say compared to Vijay as less screen time compare to his other films as a protagonist. And the director, Lokesh Kangaraj's third full length film and he had a great start with Maanagaram and Kaithi to be said. And the 50 Vijay and 50-lokesh film, which he said in a Film companion interview was easily recognisable in the theaters. I will post the links to the interviews here:

These are some must watch for the film enthusiast as it gives a broader view on what the director is willing to deliver.

This film also showcases Vijay as a not a usual protagonist as he is shown as drunk and loser kind in the first part. We see their swag and after every time I see the film I will be mimicking the character of Vijay for a few days.

Bhavani. When I heard this name for a villain I was quite surprised at its a feminine name. But Bhavani is a beast in his performance by Vijay Sethupathi. Like I admired the whole film and this strong opponent was an Ike David Goliath battle in the end was a cherry on the pie. To be said Both Bhavani and JD are portrayed as a mirror image as in starting crying to fight for the cause, loss, and the hand power.

Anirudh is like playing at one of the best both OST and OBS with extra master the blaster by Bjorn Surrao.

Like I'm habituated to hear master OBS for all causes and the JD the alcoholic music and Quit panda is my favorite followed by Arivu rap in Vaathi raid.

This was like one of the worth film, which can be made to watch many times with family and enjoy the jokes in that. 

For some people who don't know this film cinematography is from Nammavar which stares Kamal Hassan and Gautami where he also act as a professor with the similarity in the story. You guys need to check this film. And the Master is available on Amazon Prime and you can watch it there.

In conclusion, this is a pure enjoying film, which can be related and saw by any age. I also eager on both directors next film, which is Vikram stars some fabulous cast and Vijay's Beast with direct Nelson which we will see him in Doctor's journey to Goa.
