Nallasivam class on Philosophy and Anbe Sivam

"Yar Yar Sivam, Nee Nan Sivam." The massive philosophical phrase on who is god is none other than yourself. a film that talks about Communism, Advaitha philosophy, and many other things which are very special and not what Sundar C (the director) of this film usually talks about. Aside from these, we will be able to see how people are grey-shaded and, to some extent, their beliefs in this film. Let's get on the bus and go to Anbarasu's wedding in this movie as a journey.

Travel:

In the first part, Nallasivam is known as Shivam, and he travels with Anbarasu to his marriage, where we see Sivam as a person with much more outside-world knowledge than Anbarasu. He speaks practicality in a lot of places, and what Anbarasu does quite opposite is kind of funny to see. My father used to say that I'm more like Anbarasu because of his innocence and other things.

Nallasivam saying his dog has a son is so sweet, and at a moment you would also see that he was not angry with the dog as the rest of the people in the accident spot were, as the dog was the sole reason.

Every time we see the flashback, we only think that Saraswathi and Sivam should have lived happily, but he also forgives and lives with incompleteness and a happy feeling.

After seeing the end, my eyes had only one job: to shed as many tears as you shed when you just watch a feel-good film, and no one could have asked better...

I would purely suggest Sundar C get this kind of film compared to the Aranmanai franchise, which is quite boring as the same kind of story comes again.

My favourite dialogue is in two places: one is when he says "Communism is a feeling" and the second is to Anbarasu after the boy died in an ambulance: "Andha Ullamum Kadhaval Dan" or something that flows like that, which I took as a reference from Hey Ram, another masterpiece of Kamal Haasan, in which he talks to Mahatma Gandhi. Here he says Kamal has Mahatma, but he said I would not accept it, and he says that is what all Mahatma does.

This is a slice-of-life film in which you cry and accept the reality of a grey life in which some people have it better than others.

Even though it was a nice film, this film was not a commercial success and was considered a flop at the time of release. It's been 20 years since the release of this film, and these types of films are becoming increasingly scarce.
