The manscripts of Accara - Review
So I recently went to Bookfair with my friend and many said Panlo Coelho's 'Alchemist' was good. So to know more about the author apart from his Masterpiece, I took This book which was 399 Rs. This book was happening in the time of the First Crusaders when French forces invaded Jerusalem. So it can be said a self-book or a Philosophy book as per my view.
This book is answering by Copt who was answering everything in a Philosophical and enlightening way to the People. He answered all the questions like from the people from Sex to Defeat, Elegance, Enemy and so on. I read this in one sitting so I was reading this hyperfocused and finished it. I was thinking like if The translation was this much how it would have been if read in the author's language. It was a nice Book for many who see the world and fear doing things out of their comfort zone.
This book also was, made me remember the similar book "The Bhagavt Gita" where Krishna the Lord was giving the same kind of Advice to Arjuna, where Arjuna doesn't want to fight his cousins, Grandfathers and Friend and his Brother in a point.
By comparing Both the films I find quite similarities where he talks about the defeat and defeated ones were
"...Within that cycle, there are neither winners nor loses, there are only stages that must be gone through. When the human heart understand this, it is free and able to accept difficult times and not deceived by moments of glory"
which was similar to,
"Karmanye vadhika raste, Ma phaleshu kadachana
Ma karma phala he tur bhuh, ma te sangotsva karmanye"
You have a right to “Karma” (actions) but never to any Fruits thereof. You should never be motivated by the results of your actions, nor should there be any attachment in not doing your prescribed activities.
Said by Krishna and many more can be listed, but this was my favourite one.
I guess only the Vishvarropa of the Bhagavt Gita was missing apart from that all were quite similar. I would recommend this book to the person who needs to try new things, but regrets he may fail. Need to know a slice of Life, Need to know what is love and its meaning, its a Beginner and a good book to read with fewer pages which makes it easy to read
