Speaking Mute - 009 - "Gratitude Points for Independence"

 

Every year I had to celebrate Independence day by going to school saluting the Three coloured flags with all patriotism and singing National Anthem just to get some chocolate at the end. What a fantastic childhood. But When I grew up things changed to thank our Freedom fighters and here are my Questions and Gratitude at the same time to them. This is ‘The Speaking Mute', an oxymoronic way of saying what my thoughts are. 

• Thanks for the unity you got in the the fight against British. Which made us divided more by language, ethnicity and etc. Why did you leave your preachings of unity after the independence?
• Thanks for saying all are Indians, where we have problems learning other states' languages and promoting monolingualism and making fun of others' language. Is that what the first and oldest language-owning country needs to do?
• Thanks for saying what revolution is so that now we have to fight against the same system which is not working. When we question like you did we get the same beating and more now shootings?
• Thanks for leaving behind those lands and prosperous lands. Now it Fall into wrong hands to make it into papers with your face,
• Thanks for leaving behind those traditions with diversity. Just now we all unfollow them as still, we mind what other nation says and think we are indigenous.
• Thanks for saying only speak the truth. I guess even Government doesn't say Truth always.
• There used to be the decision of 10 places in the National anthem thanks for talking about it. Just to make us divided and talk about who is pure blood in that and fight against the state.
• Thanks for making a one-to-many form of government and making many educational recreational. Just to make your grandchildren doesn't know what is union and what is coming together a government. As I said thanks to that education.
• Thanks for making Female deities more powerful than all gods. So that we can rape and molest them on earth which can be silenced by your photos on paper and the power you made.
• Thanks for adding all very idealistic words in Constitution with allocation for needed. Just to make those make it meaning less due to people who came in your allocation.
• Thanks for not clearing all those allegations and false propaganda created by the previous rulers just to make us more vulnerable to our own people.
• Thanks to the separation of the country based on religion now the whole country are just sliced into imaginary lines and ideology.
• Thanks to Bharathi and Rabindranath Tagore who made us south Indians Dravidians, just to make an ideology out of it and saying Atheism and Buddhism are what old Dravidians followed while the whole of India followed Pantheism. 

I'm not saying everything they did was wrong. The thing we are taking what they preached is wrong. What they gave is wrong. Change and change are important. What a leader does is important not his ideology. What was a government grows is needed and not fight among normal Laws which don't fill your fat tummy. Till all those questions are answered we never got Independence. No one has not breached the law. Why breaching the law is a problem. I would say if a law is breached System is wrong. They change it. Till then we have no Independence. Jai Hind.
