Finding the Variable for a Happy Life - Story

It was a lovely morning at MIT, where fellow PhD students were on their way to their work. There was the girl who appeared extroverted on the outside but only gave that hug that the books said she would not give. It's like those tails of dogs, which show the animal's mood. She is a math major student. She suddenly saw Cillian. Cillian is a quantum computer engineer. It sounds fascinating and big, but for that, he needs to give his papers this year, or else there is no engineering like that.

Cillian and Claire are two people who know each other but are not friends yet. I'm just waiting for the right moment to respond. For Cillian, time is relative. For her, it doesn’t exist.

They all collaborate with Professor John Lock, who has been working on the basics of quantum physics. His theorem was the essential pillar to finding the beginning. The professor always says this story about how finding the beginning or the start is better than finding or building up to the top. He says the story where "Shiva took a huge alter form where Vishnu and Brahma asked to find the top and bottom. Brahma took the form of a swan and flew through the spaces to find the top. while Vishnu took the form of a boar and dug inside the land to the bottom where it all started. It is an endless, infinite pillar of fire that never stops. Brahma finds a flower from the top that fell. It says it is from the top and asks Bhramar to say the lie that he saw the top. The Professor used to say the flower is the assumption, a bloody illogical assumption we make to get the answer with the wish to just see it is wrong in the next decade. As in the story, Brahma and Vishnu meet again. Vishnu says the truth while Brahma says what the flower said. Shiva gave the judgement that Brahma lied, and Vishnu was the speaker of truth. After that is lore’.

He always says, "blend what you like with what you say and hear, so you don’t forget both."

It was a tiring day while he was all worked up, and he was done with all those papers and research for the day and classes. After this long day, Cillian and Claire pack their bags to leave the campus. Claire is disturbed by the begging of the day. Cillian always goes to the Modernize Bar after finishing a job. When he got into his car, suddenly Claire was there near him with her books and bag tightly hugged in her hands, her lips pressing tightly against her teeth, just the look that a teenager gives when he asks for the first time to go on a day out with friends.

 Claire, what's the matter?

She smacks her lips and replies, "Where are you going?" with an awkward smile in the end.

I'm just going to Rondures as usual. Do you want to come with me? ", insisted Cillian.

'No, just drop me at the station.' I said with hesitation, "Ok, cool, cool." whittled Cillian opened the door for her and made her comfortable in the car.

Cillian just whittled down the road till the station arrived while he opened the door. He simply looked down at the car, as a father would at his daughter. She again tightly pressed those seatbelts and held Cillian's hand.

Cillian got tense and shouted, "Why with... no..." 'Co-workers don’t date.'

Claire just held his hand for those few tears in her eyes. She needed to cry. Those tears fell down her wrists of Cillian while he didn’t know what to do. He just pats her back while more teardrops fall into his fist. She feels pathetic, but breakdowns are feelings she has felt in the past for being pathetic.

He soon gives her the water he has and makes her stop crying. He gives her his kerchief like a gentleman and makes her wipe her face. He heads back to campus again and sits in the cafeteria and buys some coffee for her.

"Is everything OK?" he asks with worry.

 She wipes and nods yes.

Cillian sighs and asks, "What is the problem you have? pressure, anxiety? What?'

Claire blinks at him while sipping her coffee.

"I’m asking you my grace, please answer the damn question," he asks politely.

She sips and finishes the coffee and says, "I’m feeling lonely."

Cillian just has what she calls a reaction. He just can’t understand what he is looking at.

"See, there is a thing called therapy. Go there and get one. What if the police saw this? Or even the professor saw this. What I can explain to them This world thinks this man has no problem and thinks you are having a problem because of us. " Cillian

She was saying, "I’m sorry, I just don’t have anyone to talk to."

"Claire, fucking stop crying." he gave her a hug.

I just can’t talk to my friends as I broke up with them. "Do you guys break up with friends?" He sniffs and laughs. You don’t know, they are asking some random person to go on a blind date. So, who? He is said to be a friend to these people. "Ok then?'' I just didn’t like him, and we just gave out in the middle of the date to the campus. Cillian just blinks as if he saw some psychopath killing someone.

You know, I just gave 50 bucks for that blind date.

Claire, you can’t come out of that date and go to campus as you like.

Why does that affect you?

What, girl? I’m just sitting here just for you.

Next word with this kind of question, I’m done.

No, is it like something that affects males.’

Rephrase or just say it once before you say it to a person. For God's sake Yes, of course, it hurts.

So, I have to be there for him.

Girls, are you kidding? You just accepted a blind date. And the sole purpose is to go out with them.

I’m not interested I just went as they insisted and felt cool.

What? See, you're some sociopath bros because you talk like a child.

Cillian I just don’t want that. I didn’t feel comfortable around him. Just don’t take me the wrong way.

So at least say to him that you felt uncomfortable. The delusion that he may hate me for that. "Guys don’t hate you for saying the truth.

No, it was meant to say that his joke about the dead father is sick.

No fathers' club,’ he rubs his head in

What?

No, this is just those weirdos who don’t know how to feel nothing and loss and do crazy stuff.

"So, I have just gone with a mentally unstable person."

Cillian looks serious and smacks his lips and says, "What do you call yourself who is running away from a problem.'

'Cillian That’s why I came to you, just to go to a bar with you, but I just feel dumb there if I don’t drink or smoke.

"You think I’m some random guy who goes to a bar and drinks every day after work?"

"You said I’m going there." Near the bar, there is a library where I do my work extra for this stupid PhD."

So, why are you talking about the bar?

“Just to sound cool''

Don’t you think it is pathetic to show how lame you are?"

Woh who? Stop there. I just know what you are going to say, but I say I don’t care what others think. But I do care about my mental peace.

‘Claire doesn’t know. Can you explain to her that she mocks

"See, you're now concerned about whether your friend will accept your apology." But I don’t worry if I don’t go to the bar if my friend calls. Because he has a stupid brain which says, "Cillian is working on some stupid computer thing which is going to make money."

''What? He can’t be angry at you because he knows I have work, while your friend may not know you have. My friends show more love than I do. You know?

It is not a conversation to prove love and dependence by hanging out together. Will they accept if you say no

‘No’

That's exactly what I’m saying — slam the bench?

‘What? What do you say? "You just said your friends don’t accept you. What kind of friendship do you have?’

Cillian stands up, takes his wallet, puts on his jeans and starts walking.

"Who who who who?" shouts Claire, and she follows him.

"What are you fucking owl?" He giggles and puts his hands in his pockets and walks forward.

Claire runs down the yard in front of Cillian and wide opens her arm and stops Cillian.

Claire, I have work; however, I will not be working today." Just say what we can do. "What? " "Yeah, bar, restaurant, park, everything you name it.’

‘Cillian I just don’t want those just so we can be on campus. "Where is the canteen going to shut in 45 minutes?" Where we can go: "Just to my office here. I just got some drinks.'

Cillian catches it, goes through his pocket, and throws his key away while she didn’t expect it.

"Why?" "Just some money-saving, check the bunker and get the drinks."

When they separate from their jobs, they think of something enjoyable to spend time on. While Claire checked the back, there were huge stacks of soft drinks. Some appear from the football viewing area.

When Cillian reaches the doors and unlocks them after the third try, he goes inside and sits at her desk and sees some envelopes. He sees it with suspicion. It was sealed by the Neurology department.

He opens and reads it while Claire shows up. Claire assumes he read that. She looks at him while he is busy reading that paper. When he finishes, he scoffs and sees Claire.

 Claire gives me that. "

Claire assumes all and picks up the paper and puts it in the bin, using her leg to stop it on the top while Cillian sees those heel marks on it.

He then starts to talk to himself to explain what he just saw about her.

Is it just me who got a bad score on the happiness index taken by our Ferkin Frankenstein team? They just used some mental maths without some equations and derived this.'

While she explains all in stirring, he just drinks and takes the old chips in the drawer and nods at every sentence, so she just assumes what she says is true.

The night then changed to a math class where she began to explain math and algebra 1 with her life as the equation and how she claims she has fewer variables than everyone else because she only uses six alphabets. "X" represents the external factors in her life, "Y" represents the things she has where she is only intelligent and has a low score compared to beauty and money, and "Z" represents the hard work she does, which is the largest variable and exponent in the equation, and "W" represents luck, and it's like that thing that you need but is very difficult to obtain, but if you are that mathematician, you will say it has no value. "V" is like mental peace or stability which has no extra things to it, like it is always just those variables easily disturbed by another variable in the equation. "U" is the extra variable which pretty much sums up other equations of calculus that she wrote and which he forgot to say to me. He started to sleep while she just spoke tirelessly about how her graphing skills are with that slow booting computer. While she finishes her graph, it becomes chaotic as life comes. And Cillian came to life, clapping about how good it was. While he is asleep, he drinks around 2 soft drink cans of 500 ml with a burp. She just came up with a new equation for life and is currently calculating for her life. while he just saw the graph by far.

When he saw the graph, Cillian just winked twice due to blurred vision after sleep and minimised and said, "On a large scale of life, your graph is nothing. Maths is boring and so is life sometimes, but when you get a good teacher, maths gets interesting, like life when you are in the present.''

‘I thought you would say with people. ‘Said Claire

When both eyes clash just like that, Claire leans forward.

"No!" screamed Cillian while she took the file behind him, which was a paper asking to be in the professors’ cabin tomorrow. Soon they posted them while Cillian took the paper reports of her and included them and sent them to them with Drowse. From that time, Cillian stopped drinking and walking in sleep.

The following morning, the professor received a report from Claire saying that she was one of the people who were living a happy life with the papers he asked for. He laughed and saw that behind every page of the paper he asked for were just some rubbish algebra works and some graphs. It seems Claire copied it. So, I just saw those things and just laughed at how brilliant and pathetic life can be.
