Jaffana Shores - Poem
All my tears are now rain,
My blood is shattered with my kin's blood.
my body is to the motherland,
Where I also buried my happiness.
Even when shores hit Jaffna beaches,
It erodes and gives it back.
I lost all to these war breaches,
I won't get back what they ruined.
My Son lost his fresh air to Explosion,
My husband lost his arm to loose cannon they carried.
I lost my daughter to those men,
Now I'm lost in my life destination.
Even the heavens would not be equal to my land,
As I walk on the ashes of my father.
All these Jaffana beach birds,
May I meet you if I live?
